The largest book measures 5 m x 8.06 m (16.40 ft x 26.44 ft), weighs approximately 1500 kg (3,306 lb) and consists of 429 pages. The book was unveiled by Mshahed International Group, in Dubai, UAE, on 27 February 2012. Over 50 people took part in the construction of the book which is entitled ‘This the Prophet Mohamed’ and is a compilation of stories highlighting the lifetime achievements of Islam’s Prophet as well as the positive influence of Islam on the international and humanitarian scene.
The largest button mosaic measured 392.5 m² (4,224 ft² 118 in²) and was achieved by Fareed Lafta (Iraq), in Dubai, UAE, on 9 March 2013. The mosaic was made of 1,019,078 buttons and the artwork depicted the image of a peace dove with the colours of the UAE flag. The aim of attempting this record was to promote world peace. The largest collection box was produced as part of the Dubai Shopping Festival 2005, has a total volume of 13 m³ (459 ft³) and measured 6.87 m (22 ft 6 in) high and 3.60 m (11 ft 9in) wide in Creek Park, Dubai, United Arab Emirates on 10 February 2005. The collection box is a scaled up version of an original, in the shape of the Dubai Shopping Festival logo.
Chandra Mohan (India) has 527 different miniatures of landmarks from 70 countries, as of May 2011, which he has been collecting since 2002. Mr Mohan who currently lives in Dubai bought his first miniature landmark, Washington Monument, in Washington DC, USA in 2002. His collection includes some of the world famous monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal and Great Wall of China.
Lara Khoury (UAE) has 2,214 different picture frames, as of 6 October 2010, which she has been collecting since 1992. Lara Khoury brought her first frame while studying in Boston, MA, USA.
The largest display of hanging baskets consists of 2,426 arrangements, and was achieved by Akar Landscaping Services & Agriculture (UAE) in the Zakher area in Al Ain, UAE, on 20 March 2010. To achieve the impressive display called ‘Al Ain Paradise’, around 1,000,000 flowers were planted as a celebration of spring season start in Al Ain City.
The largest first aid lesson involved 1,700 participants and was achieved by Emirates Transport (UAE) at Abu Dhabi National Theatre, Abu Dhabi (UAE), on 27 April 2013. The first aid lesson was held as part of Emirates Transport annual Health and Safety Awareness month. The class participants were made up of the staff and management of Emirates Transport.
The largest firework display consisted of 479,651 fireworks and was achieved by Dubai Government at Palm Jumeirah Island and The World Islands in Dubai, UAE, on 31 December 2013. The fireworks produced by Grucci were launched from stations on the World Islands and Palm Jumeirah stretching over 95 km (59.03 miles) of seafront.
The largest packaged food mosaic measures 24.7 m (81 ft 0.44 in) in length, 38.6 m (126 ft 7.68 in) in width, and was achieved by Sharp MEA FZE, in Dubai World Trade Center, Dubai, UAE, on 3 October 2013. 149 employees created the mosaic out of 79,300 packs of food that were donated the food to UAE red crescent society.
