The largest three legged race across multiple venues was achieved by 930 pairs (1,860 participants) at an event organised by National Family Week (UK) at 18 venues across the UK, on 5 June 2010. Logbooks for each location were submitted. Halewood disqualified due to lack of witness statements; originally claimed total for Hindsley adjusted to match total in witness statements which accounts for the discrepancy in the total awarded and the total claimed in the cover letter.
The largest tombola included 4,802 prizes and was achieved by Mainstay DRP (UK) in Castlewellan Forest Park in Castlewellan, UK, on 28 August 2011. The attempt was part of a family fun day called “4 R’s in the Park.”

The record was held for the “Striking Together for Gold” performance, which is the concluding part of a 5 year percussion project involving all types of tuned and untuned percussion instruments by Cambridgeshire Music.
The largest trousers measured 12.19 m long (40 ft), with a 7.92 m waist (26 ft), were made by Rishi S. Thobhani from R.S.T. International Limited (UK) and displayed and measured in Leicester, UK, on 23 May 2009. The trousers were thermal long johns.
The world’s largest turkey farm belongs to Bernard Matthews plc, at North Pickenham, Norfolk, UK which produces 1 million turkeys per year.
The largest underpants measured 20 m (65 ft 7 in) across the waist and 12 m (39 ft 4 in) from waistband to crotch and were presented by Pants to Poverty (UK) in London, UK, on 16 September 2010. The measuring was carried out at the offices of the fairtrade fashion brand People Tree in East London.
The world’s largest vertical blinds measure 20.1 m (65 ft 11 in) wide and 8.3 m (27 ft 3 in) tall, and were created by Hillarys Blinds of Nottingham, UK in January 2003. The blinds are 75 times larger than the average size.
The largest simultaneous walking bus in multiple locations involved a total of 119,697 participants from 403 schools across the UK. The event was organised by Brake – the road safety charity- on 17 June 2009. This was the second time Brake has organised and set the record with the help of schools all over the UK.
