The most money raised whilst running a half marathon is £1,187.70 ($1,946.64) and was achieved by CoppaFeel! (UK) at the Bath Half Marathon in Bath, UK, on 6 March 2011. CoppaFeel! is a charity which raises awareness about self breast examination for breast cancer. Participants ran the half marathon dressed as breasts and carrying buckets to collect cash, coins and cheques from runners and spectators.
