The most Ironman 70.3 races completed in one year was 22 by James Lawrence (USA) of Lindon, Utah, USA, between 27 March and 13 November 2010. Lawrence concluded his record by participating in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships. An Ironman 70.3 is classified as a “half-Ironman.” Participants must complete a 1.93 km (1.2 mi) swim, 90.12 km (56 mi) cycle, and 21.08 km (13.1 mi) run. Lawrence’s best time for any of the races was 4 hr 39 min 24 sec in his 11th race.

In his career, he scored an average of 30.1 points per game, taking into account his total of 31,419 for Philadelphia Warriors 1959-62, San Francisco Warriors 1962-65, Philadelphia 76ers 1964-8 and Los Angeles Lakers 1968-73. He scored 50 or more points in 118 games, including 45 games in 1961-62 and 30 in 1962-63.

The largest gingerbread house had an internal volume of 1,110.1 m³ (39,201.8 ft³) and was created by Traditions Club (USA) at Traditions Club, Bryan, Texas, USA on 30 November 2013. The house was 18.28 m (60 ft) long, 12.8 m (42 ft) wide and 18.28 m (10.1 ft) tall at its highest point. Visitors to the house were able to meet Santa Claus, in exchange for a donation to St Joseph’s Hospital in order to raise monies to build a new trauma center.

The highest speed officially recorded for a land yacht is 202.9 km/h (126.1 mph) by Greenbird, piloted by Richard Jenkins (UK), at Ivanpah Dry Lake, Prim, Nevada, USA, on 26 March 2009. Greenbird is contructed from carbon composites, while airflow over the vertical sails propels the craft to reach up to five times the real speed of wind on land.
