The longest marathon playing inline hockey (roller hockey) is 27 hr 00 min 31 sec and was organised by Scorpions Inline Hockey Club (Namibia) at the Paresis Park Inline Hockey Rink in Otjiwarongo, Namibia, from 27-28 September 2013. Otjiwarongo Scorpions took on Team NIIHA in this marathon match, with the Scorpions coming out on top 316-291. The attempt was organised to raise the profile of inline hockey in Namibia.
The longest game of indoor or floor hockey was 50 hours long and was played between the Bert & Macs and Mid-Town Certigard teams at Winston Churchill High School in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, from 25-27 March 2008.
The longest marathon playing indoor football (soccer) is 30 hr 10 min by members of Healthy Hearts Alberta (Canada) at the Leduc Recreation Centre in Leduc, Alberta, Canada, from 20-21 May 2010. The two teams – Blue vs. Yellow – played to raise awareness for general health and wellness in the local community. The final result was a 282-275 victory for team Blue. One player was sent off for a red card issued after 21 hrs 7 min for a handball in the goal box.

The longest marathon playing indoor bowls is 40 hours and was achieved by Peter Harry, Rob Atkinson, Lyn Atkinson, Lorraine Missingham, Laurie Munro and Liz Munro (all Australia), at the Bridgewater Lake Estate Community Centre in Roxburgh Park, Victoria, Australia, between 17-19 April 2013. This was the team’s second attempt at breaking the record, having fallen short in an attempt the year before.
The longest marathon playing ice hockey lasted 246 hr and 2 min and was achieved by team Oilympics (Canada) at the Chestermere Regional Community Association in Chestermere, Alberta, Canada, from 6 to 16 May 2012. The group of 40 was split into the “Hope” and “Cure” teams, with team “Cure” emerging victorious 4,170 – 3,843. Despite the loss, Team Hope had the pick of the stats. The longest game of women’s lacrosse lasted 9 hr 15 min between Cardiff University Lacrosse Club and Cardiff University Lacrosse Club Alumni (both UK) at Llanrumney Sports Field, Cardiff, United Kingdom, on 25 April 2009. Cardiff University Lacrosse Club beat Cardiff University Lacrosse Club Alumni 132-22. They raised around ?2000 for “Right To Play (UK)”.
The longest marathon playing rugby union is 24 hr 51 min and was achieved by Scotty’s Little Soldiers (UK) at Welford Road in Leicester, Leicestershire, UK, from 31 May to 1 June. An Armed Forces XV beat the Scotty’s Little Soldiers XV 1,742 – 828. The game was organised by Nikki Scott, whose husband Corporal Lee Scott was killed in Afghanistan in 2009. The charity supports children who have lost parents who were serving in the armed forces.
