Sportacus is the main protagonist from the Icelandic children’s programme “LazyTown.” Burton also attempted the fastest marathon as a television character three weeks later at the 2011 Virgin London Marathon but lost to a “Captain James T. Kirk” by 15 seconds.
The fastest half marathon dressed as a fruit (female) is 1 hour 35 minutes and 45 seconds achieved by Joanne Singleton (UK) at the Schaumburg Half Marathon Turkey Trot in Schaumburg, Illinois, USA on 26 November 2011. Joanne’s chip time was 01:35:45.6 Joanne’s gun time was 01:36:24.3

The record for the fastest time to run a half marathon wearing a two-person pantomime costume is 2 hr 3 min 20 sec and was achieved by Stephen McAdam and Nathan Saber (both Australia) at the Geelong Cross Country Club Half Marathon in Geelong, Victoria, Australia, on 15 April 2012.
The fastest half marathon dressed as a nurse (male) is 1 hr 25 min 56 sec and was achieved by Kyle Somerfield (USA) at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Chicago Half Marathon in Chicago, Illinois, USA, on 21 July 2013.
The fastest half marathon pushing a pram (male) is 1 hour 13 min 50 sec and was achieved by Travis Boyd (USA) at the Heroes Half Marathon in Everett, Washington, USA, on 28 April 2013. Travis pushed his one-year-old daughter, Julia, in a pram around the entire half marathon course. Incredibly, Travis actually won the overall half marathon race, beating the entire field and setting a course record in the process.

The record for the fastest time to complete a half marathon race three legged is held by Alastair and Nick Benbow (UK) who ran the London Half Marathon in 1 hr 37 min 53 sec on 2 March 2003. The pair wore a pair of three legged trousers and were also tied at the wrist. The race was timed using a timing chip.
