Largest mosquito repellent patch

The largest mosquito repellent patch measures 3 metres long and 3 metres high (9 ft 10 × 9ft 10 in) and was manufactured by Luxembourg Medicine Co. Ltd. (China) and unveiled and measured on 15 August 2009. The oil that the patch contains is citronella oil and an active ingredient of wild tomatos called IBI-246. Only natural inredients were used in the manufacturing.

Largest para para dance

Organised by the Bauhinia Junior Chamber a total of 840 people para para danced to the music ‘Fantasy’ for over six minutes at the Charter Road Pedestrian Precinct, Hong Kong on 17 June 2001. Para para is a dance style popular in Asia and is a combination of line and club dancing with most movement on the dance floor made with the hands.

Largest permanent light and sound show

The world´s largest permanent light and sound show comprises 33 buildings and is staged every night at Victoria Harbour, in Hong Kong. The show, entitled “A Symphony of Lights”, was developed by the Tourism Commission of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and was launched on 17 January 2004. Largest photo exhibition

The largest photo exhibition displayed 141,822 photographs taken by members of the public, which was organised by LP 184 (Hong Kong). The exhibition, entitled ‘HAHA DAY’ took place at Nina Tower, Hong Kong, China, on 28 July 2010. From 8 to 27 July photos were collected via Facebook and emails. On 17-18 over 120 volunteers collected smiling photos on the streets of Hong Kong, Macau and Guangdong area. 1,694 photographs were disqualified.

Largest revolving stage

The largest revolving stage measured 10 m x 9.44 m (32 ft 10 in x 31 ft) and was used by Aaron Kwok (Hong Kong) for the Aaron Kwok De Show Reel Extension Live Concert at the Asia World Arena, Hong Kong, on 17 February 2008.

Largest shoe

The largest shoe measures 6.40 m (20 ft 11.97 in) x 2.39 m (7 ft 10.09 in) and is 1.65 m (5 ft 4.96 in) high and was created by Electric Sekki (Hong Kong) in Hong Kong, China, on 12 April 2013. The shoe was a replica of a Superga 2750 shoe, created in order to celebrate the launch of Superga in Hong Kong. Electric Sekki is the exclusive distributor of Superga in Hong Kong and China.

Largest sushi mosaic

The largest sushi mosaic is 37.57 m² (404.40 ft²) and was created by Itacho Sushi (Hong Kong) at the Festival Walk in Hong Kong, China, on 8 January 2014. The record was attempted as part of Itacho & Itamae Sushi’s 10th Anniversary celebrating ceremony and the design “10” implicated the chained restaurant will keep moving towards perfect 10.
