The longest chain of bandanas consisted of 2,450 bandanas and was created by participants in an event organized by The Hiratsuka Coming of Age Day Ceremony Committee (Japan) in Hiratsuka, Japan, on 10 January 2011. The chain was 1,357.71 m (4,454 ft 5 in) long. Each bandana measured 50 x 50 cm (1 ft 7 in x 1 ft 7 in)
The longest eyebrow hair belongs to Sumito Matsumura (Japan) and was 18.1 cm (7.1 in) when measured at Kodaira, Tokyo, Japan, on 30 June 2011. The announcement for the title is due to be announced on the Japanese TV program “Nanikore Chin Hyakkei” on TV Asahi.
The longest goza mat measures 537.27 m (1,762 ft 8 in) and was manufactured by Yashiro Green Project (Japan). It was displayed and measured at Honmachi-shotengai Arcade in Yatsushiro, Kumamoto, Japan, on 12 March 2011. A goza mat is a Japanese style floor mat made form woven rushes.

In laboratory tests following the international standards, it outperformed the batteries from other leading manufactures by the average of 10-30%.
The longest knotted rope chain made in five minutes measured 3,936.94 m (1,2916 ft 5.33 in) and was achieved by Network Service And Technologies Co., Ltd. (Japan) at Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium, Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan, on 11 December 2010.
The longest Mini 4WD race track is 1,188.67 m (3,899 ft 10.03 in), and was created by Kazushi Chinone and Hitachioomiya Mini 4WD Daisakusen (both Japan) at Omiya Elementary School in Hitachioomiya, Ibaraki, Japan on 1 February 2014.
The longest nagashi somen measured 3,216.7 m (10,553.46 ft) and was constructed by the The Ide Town Society of Commerce and Industry in Kyoto Prefecture, in Ide Town, Japan, on 20 March 2011. It took 100 people and 800 bamboo ‘gutters’ to achieve the new record length. The measuring took 42 minutes to complete.
The longest noodle measured 548.7 m (1,800 ft 2 in) in length and 3.3 mm in diameter, and was made by Hiroshi Kuroda in Nasu, Tochigi, Japan on 24 March 2007. This record was equalled by Council for Hakka Affairs Executive Yuan (Taiwan) at Taipei County Hakka Museum, Sansia, Taiwan, on 28 December 2008, a feat recognised as the longest rice noodle.
The longest single-strand pearl necklace measured 222 m (728 ft 4 in) and was created by Shimashi Kanko Kyokai (Japan) at the 60th Pearl Festa in Kashikojima, Shima, Mie, Japan, on 22 October 2010. 27,750 pearls were used. It took more than three months to complete the necklace.
A total of 56 hand-made rafts were connected together in a single line and floated for 1.6 km (1 mile) down the Tokachi River near Obihiro, Japan, on 28 July 2002, as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Tokachi River Rafting organisation. Each raft was paddled by four crew members. All the rafts were identical, consisting of a wooden deck supported by four vehicle inner tubes. The length of the ‘snake’ was 136 m (446 ft).
