The longest curly wurly that was stretched in three minutes is 285.5 cm (9 ft 4 in) and was achieved by Tracy Jane Sullivan (UK), at the Cheese and Grain during the Frome Chocolate Festival, in Somerset, UK, on 20 November 2011. This attempt took place at the Frome Chocolate Fesitival and on one particluar stall participants were given the opportunity to break a Guinness World Records attempt for the longest curly wurly stretched in 3 minutes. The longest distance run three legged in 12 hours is 68.8 km (42.75 miles) and was achieved by Simon Ashton and Gary Hooson (both UK), in Plymouth, Devon, UK, on 26 July 2011. Simon and Gary, of 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery, based at the Citadel, started at 7 am and finished their attempt at 7 pm, completing a total of 172 laps (400 m track) at Brickfields public running track.
The greatest distance rowed on a Concept II indoor rower in 24 hours by a pair (male) is 335.3 km (208.35 miles) by Simon Johns and Sam De Kooker (both UK) in Guernsey, Channel Islands, UK, in November 2008. This predictably betters the record for an individual, set by David Harris at 307.68 km in 2001.

In total over 200 swimmers took part in swimming around a 750 m circuit. Gavin Brown swam the Farthest distance in one leg, completing five laps (3,750 m) in 1 hr 04 min 34 sec.
